The industry countdown to Cannes Lions has begun and two of Epsilon’s creative professionals are counting down with them. Senior art director, Jessica Keller and associate creative director Mark Bell will join more than 15,000 creatives, brands, partners and celebrities at the distinguished Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity for inspiration, celebration and networking. The festival will take place from June 18-25, 2016.First-in-France

You may be wondering, what exactly takes place throughout the course of this 8-day festival? From award ceremonies, to master classes and inspirational seminars—this festival is the ultimate learning and networking experience. There will be over 4,000 companies participating in endless events, activities and award ceremonies throughout the week including Conversant, Epsilon’s digital media arm. Conversant has been shortlisted at Cannes Lions for its work for the Federation for Internet Alerts (FIA). “Saving Real Lives in Real Time” made the Media Lions shortlist. FIA leverages commercial online and mobile advertising technology to expand the reach of AMBER Alerts for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). The vision also encompasses warning people in affected areas about any kind of critical hazard. Media Lions winners will be announced on Tuesday, June 23.

Firsts in France

This will be the first time at Cannes for Jessica and Mark so they’ve decided to document their journey at FirstsinFrance.com, where they will share their personal experiences in real-time through pictures and posts.

The website currently has quick facts and interesting biographies of the pair, who have both worked on impressive creative projects for Epsilon and will be on the lookout for new ideas to bring back from the festival. They will be consistently updating the website throughout their time at Cannes, so be sure to check back and see what’s new.
