Delivering a fresh, intuitive website experience

The introduction to Golden 1 started with a three-week assessment of their new Sitecore implementation which included an overall health check on the site’s infrastructure, architecture, design and content.

Next, we assembled the necessary variety of resources from visual designers, architects, project management, development to QA. This team, coupled with the Golden 1’s marketing team, ran an agile project to redesign the site to better represent the Golden 1 brand, restructure the content, build reusable modules and redesign the pages along with content consolidation.

Then, we developed the redesigned site with a mobile-first approach and a responsive new visual interface to resonate with Golden 1’s members. We also unified the branding of the site and employed easy-to-understand navigation, intuitive design and useful functionality. We delivered a soft roll-out to employees and a subset of members, on-time and on budget, including some extras. This group then provided feedback which guided the enhancements that led to the full launch.

For the next phase of the project, we had more time to help Golden 1 further define their goals, build a roadmap and create an implementation plan. We assessed their existing technologies which were comprised of disparate systems. We then helped to build a strategy vision for the future that would optimize the end-user experience.

Using the Epsilon Value Realization Framework (VRF), we established a common set of workflows to help the client better organize to deliver on a coherent and coordinated approach to the market. This methodology includes optimizing process workflows, go-to-market and governance across their architecture, data integration and content teams. In four months, Epsilon equipped Golden 1 with a robust, responsive website run on the Sitecore platform that also meets the needs of its disabled members.
