Dallas, TX — July 22, 2014 — Epsilon, the global leader in helping clients create customer connections that build brand and business equity, today announced leadership advancements within its healthcare portfolio to service the broader healthcare industry and help brands achieve unprecedented business results.

To meet the demands of the ever-evolving healthcare landscape, Epsilon added new talent with vast experience in the enterprise healthcare strategy, agency and digital marketing space.

“Marketers in the healthcare space face a plethora of challenges in meeting the needs of today’s always-on and always-connected customer. They’re demanding streamlined and integrated solutions across digital, CRM, technology and analytics that connect brands to customers in a truly authentic way, and in a way that drives business forward,” said Lisa Henderson, Managing Director, Client Services. “We’re excited to bring on three of the leading marketers in the healthcare space to help our clients overcome challenges through the responsible use of deep data and innovative technology.”

Mark Miller has rejoined Epsilon as the healthcare portfolio leader. In this role he is responsible for leading the vision, solution development and solution delivery across the entire portfolio. Prior to Epsilon, Mark founded StepWise Marketing and served as Strategy and CRM Practice Leader at Digitas Health and Digitas.

Ross Quinn joined the team as SVP, Healthcare Agency Lead, overseeing agency delivery which is centered on creative ideation and execution. Ross has over 25 years of industry experience with a proven track record of creating and implementing omnichannel strategies that deliver business results. He joined Epsilon from Concentric Health Experience where he served as Managing Partner, Director of Customer Integration.

Bruce Grant now serves as SVP of Strategy for the Healthcare team. Bruce, formerly at Digitas Health for 13 years, is one of the most seasoned healthcare management consultants with a proven ability to develop technology-empowered solutions to real-world business problems. He is an avid contributor of thought leadership in the healthcare space.

To help brands meet the current marketing challenges and uncover opportunities, Epsilon’s healthcare team has expanded into several traditionally underserved markets including over-the-counter medications, hospital networks, insurance providers, medical device manufacturers and veterinary medicine.

“The market is looking for experienced marketing practitioners that deliver transformational ideas centered in the digital world. Yes, there are many options. Management consultants who formulate strategy, but don’t always have the best executional approach; system integrators who execute well, but can often distort strategy. Database providers who impact strategy, but fail to do so proactively. Agencies that understand customers deeply but tend to focus on campaign results at the expense of enterprise strategy. Epsilon combines the best of all of these worlds,” said Mark Miller. “We’re currently working on a number of exciting initiatives, including a first-of-its-kind, points-based loyalty program for the insurance space that combines elements of gamification with the need to help members better manage their disease and drive improved patient outcomes.”
