Online Advertising Leader Taps Internal Veterans for Key Executive Positions

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 17, 2008--ValueClick, Inc. (Nasdaq: VCLK), one of the world's largest integrated online marketing companies, recently announced several executive appointments across three divisions.

The company has appointed eight-year veteran Kerri Pollard to General Manager of Commission Junction, the world's largest affiliate marketing services provider. Pollard originally joined affiliate marketing solutions provider BeFree in 1999 prior to its acquisition by ValueClick and subsequent merger with Commission Junction in 2003. During her tenure with BeFree and Commission Junction, she managed the teams responsible for advertiser and publisher client development, and introduced such initiatives as the CJ Performer, a program that facilitates strategic relationships between top-performing publishers and key advertisers. In her most recent role as Vice President of Client Development-East, Pollard managed the East Coast account teams responsible for Commission Junction's top-performing advertiser and publisher clients. In her new role as General Manager, Pollard will oversee the operations of Commission Junction's U.S. offices located in Santa Barbara, CA; Boston, MA; San Francisco, CA; and Westlake Village, CA.

ValueClick also announced the promotion of Ann Hoey to General Manager of Mediaplex. Mediaplex offers marketers, agencies and publishers advanced tools for managing their display advertising and email programs. In 2000, Hoey came to Mediaplex from Levi Strauss & Co. Since that time, Hoey has held a number of management positions at Mediaplex, most recently serving as Vice President of Operations, responsible for account management, technical support, marketing, finance, product management and analytics. In the role of General Manager, Hoey will have responsibility for all operations of the division.

In another recent announcement, Sean Quick was named General Manager of Mediaplex Systems, a leading provider of agency management software used for financial, production and media management systems. A nine-year veteran of Mediaplex, Quick has held a number of management positions including Product Manager, Director of Technical Services and, most recently, Senior Director of Product Management. Quick's strong product management and product marketing leadership was evidenced in the releases of Mediaplex's MOJO Mail, MOJO Publisher, MOJO SEM and the 2007 introduction of Mediaplex's Channel Performance Suite, which integrated all of the products so that marketers can deploy, track and analyze all of their online marketing programs in one unified system.
